I will continue my journey through Bond where I left off, so follow me through Bond to another Bond and Back again. To look back at the reason behind this series of articles was one of love, for a film franchise which has spanned 59 years next April. But also to see what as an adult and self appointed film connoisseur I think of the now fifty plus year old films. And here I find myself at the fourth film in the series, also known as the one I usually forget about.

Issue 35; Double Oh, 3
We have come to the third instalment of the spy franchise which is due to have it’s 25th film released this year. Bond had finally hit the big time and the budget for this film was the total combination of the last two films, so the pockets were deeper. Plus for me this is one of the most iconic Bond films in the franchise, with so many memorable moments, from painted ladies to whole lot of Pussy.
Issue 34; Double Oh, 2
I continue my brief dive into the James Bond film series and discuss my thoughts on the films and sometimes controversially parts that I believe are bad and now so dated that it shows. This time we get into the second outing for the worst secret spy in the spy world, From Russia With Love.
Issue 33; Double Oh, 1
Bond, James Bond is the most iconic saying in cinema history and is linked to the phenomenon which is the Bond franchise, nothing has come before it and nothing will come after, that is if it ever stops. Eon Productions have created Bond films since 1962 and have changed with the actors, story lines and times as they are. Men everywhere see Bond as the ultimate in masculinity and class. From fashion to fornication Bond had it all, the explosions the one liners. And over the last fifty eight years, apart from having some of the best cars, bad guys, women and gadgets we have ever seen, it has made its place in our culture.
Issue 26; Up and Away, The Aeronauts
written by @coombstw
My home town has the best cinema, it is a blast from the past, with small tickets that you got in the 50’s to art deco through out. It is amazing and cheap. With all this in mind I try and go to everything I can if the film is one I even slightly may want to see it. And this took me to see Amazon original film The Aeronauts.
Issue 26; Just Not Cinema
written by @coombstw
“They are just not Cinema”. You may have heard this comment recently from one of our all time great film makers, Mr Martin Scorsese, the creator of some of the best gangster and thriller films in his generation, or this one really as he continues to do great things. There are lots of things that are not Cinema, overpriced popcorn, noisy food, rustling packets and cheese. But did the recipient of this comment deserve it?
Issue 25; Just Call Him Bond
25. The number of films in this series starting from 1962 to 2020, for now anyway. This is no mean feat especially to have moved through the decades but keeping, mostly, to the original material. Which we know was brought to us by the amazing Ian Fleming which first came to light in 1953, nine years before Sean Connery first uttered the now iconic phrase. And 53 years for the first book Casino Royal to come to the silver screen*.
Issue 24; Happy Halloween - SMWT Episode 4, Season 2
Saturday Mornings with Tom - #Halloween
I discuss four scary films that actually made me jump in a celebration of Halloween today.

Issue 22; Hellboy, The Nerdy Note
written by @coombstw
After many moans and groans from the geeky massive and the del Toro debutants the newly rehashed Hellboy will never get a sequel. It was slightly short off its budget, by a mere 10 million, but I still had to see what the problem was. Turns out there wasn't one.

Issue 18; Now What A Marvel, Film Thought
by T W Coombs esq.
11 years, 22 films, 1 ultimate story and for me my story has been told and ended.
Issue 6; Are you still Afraid of the Dark?
By T W Coombs
Horror films come and go, he are constant in our lives, most are rubbish or copies of what has come before. Every now and again one will come up that really gets under peoples skin, take the hype over the Paranormal Activity franchise. Personally I hated them, and found them mostly boring, but people will follow hype no matter how lame a film truly is. It wasn’t even the budget as some lower budget films are great. It Follows for one was a film worth keeping an eye on whilst the other hid as you slowly got freaked out.
Issue 4; Shame About The Extra Stuff - Batman V Superman
I love a film, whether epic, action or comic book fun and I
am also a great fan of Batman and Superman.
So with this, I would like to go against the reviewing fraternity and say
I really liked Batman V Superman but you can leave the shoe horned in extra bits, as they are pointless.
Issue 2; Star Wars - Another New Hope Again?
By T W Coombs
So forty years after the originals and ten years after the
prequels the world of Star Wars is back and it has taken a funny turn, by
trying to be funny and not living up to the hype, once again.
