Issue 44; Editorial, 26th February 2022

Another year and another issue of The Journal, one which I hoped would find us all enjoying the wonders of a post pandemic world, which in England we are, to a point.  Sadly as I write this other parts of our world are at war.  A sad time for humanity as a whole no matter whom you agree with it is never a good thing.

I find myself in a dilemma when a new issue comes out and I write this piece of editorial which is supposed to link to the articles.  But when you write about shaving, cocktails and alike, it is hard to post about these amazing, fun things when all hell is breaking loose else where and lives are being ripped apart as you sip on the second martini of the night.

But life does go on for most as normal, for now, and we must hold that to ourselves along with our sadness for others.  My thoughts go out to my friends in both countries, one side who mainly disagree with their countries move or are fleeing or fighting for their home. I am no expert on the region but we can all agree War is bad no matter the reasons.

This issue has some delights for you all, from clothing to food and a gentlemen's pleasure (not like that) which I hope you will enjoy at this uncertain time.
